Nominating for BESMA is a ‘no-brainer’!

Nominations are open for the ISM’s British Excellence is Sales Management Awards (BESMA). Here’s why you have everything to gain by entering – and nothing to lose…

First up, these are the UK’s leading sales awards. Just by nominating your top salespeople you’ll effectively be saying, “You’re worth it, you deserve this.” In other words, even if they don’t win – or even make the final – you’ll be giving them a massive morale boost by recognising their talents and efforts.

There are plenty of Awards categories – covering you, your star salespeople, your top sales teams, and senior management too. So BESMA offers fabulous opportunities to showcase your work and – however far you progress – to celebrate together.

There’s more. Sales experts will assess every entry and provide feedback in the form of a written critique. They will highlight areas where they think the nominee is doing well – or could improve. What’s to lose? It’s as valuable as consultancy advice, helping you and your salespeople to benchmark yourselves against best practice and take your work to the next level.

If that’s not enough, remember also that by entering BESMA you are supporting the sales profession, helping all of us involved in the industry to demonstrate what we do – and highlight the valuable contribution we make to UK Plc.

And entering couldn’t be easier. Anyone can put forward themselves, another individual, or a sales team for a BESMA. There is no limit on the number of entries. Simply identify the categories you want to enter and complete the application on the website

IMPORTANT! The cut-off date for nominations is 2 August. You still have plenty of time – but there’s no time like the present. Why wait to give your salespeople a boost!

To give yourself the best chance of success, address all the evidence requirements and give examples where possible. Then just upload your completed application. There’s no need to include supporting documentation at this stage of the process.

After a rigorous assessment process, the finalists will be announced on 14 August, and go forward to Judging Day on 5-6 September. The awards ceremony will take place at London’s prestigious Grosvenor House Hotel on 26 October 2018.

See you there!
